“Negotiating Changes: Society, Policy, and Global Engagement for Sustainable Future”
The complexity of global challenges in the 21st century—ranging from digital disruption and post-pandemic inequality to geopolitical shifts—demands an adaptive response from both the public sector and civil society. Change can no longer be addressed merely through reactive measures but must be managed through strategies of social negotiation and inclusive policies. In response to this urgency, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Sebelas Maret University is organizing the International Conference on Social and Political Sciences (ICOSAPS) 2026. Under the theme “Negotiating Changes: Society, Policy, and Global Engagement for a Sustainable Future,” this conference serves as an interdisciplinary platform that integrates perspectives from Public Administration, Communication Studies, Sociology, and International Relations to formulate research-based solutions to the dynamics of global change.
This conference will discuss various issues related to social and political sciences as follows:
Submit your 250-word abstract outlining your research. The academic committee will review submissions and notify authors.
The committee will send you a notification informing you whether your abstract has been accepted or not.
Finalize your payment and upload your final paper and presentation for inclusion in the official proceedings.
Join us at the faculty for two days of keynote speeches, parallel sessions, networking, and workshops.
